I am a lecturer ("akademischer Direktor") at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Trier (Germany). My primary interests are database systems, information retrieval, digital libraries and electronic publishing.

My main activity is to maintain the DBLP bibliography server. I have edited the first 21 CDs / 2 DVDs of the The ACM SIGMOD Anthology.
